The SubSurface Instruments ML-3S Magnetic Locator is a waterproof, IP68-certified tool designed for reliable detection of ferrous metal objects in challenging field and underwater environments. Built for durability, the ML-3S features rugged aluminum construction and operates easily with a four-button keypad for power, zeroing, and sensitivity control.

It can detect objects like property pins, valves, weapons, and utility markers up to 10 feet deep. Audio feedback is provided through a variable-pitch moving coil speaker, while the LCD display shows signal strength, polarity, and low battery alerts. The ML-3S runs on three 9V alkaline batteries and includes a soft carrying case.
