Dahlia ‘X Dalaya Purple & White’ is a striking hybrid dahlia known for its bold, bi-colored blooms that feature vibrant purple petals accented with crisp white tips, creating a dramatic and eye-catching floral display. This cultivar combines the classic tuberous-rooted dahlia’s lush, bushy growth habit and large, decorative flowers, often used in garden borders, containers, and as cut flowers. Originating from the Dahlia genus native to Mexico and Central America, dahlias have a rich horticultural history dating back to Aztec cultivation, prized for their diversity in flower form and color. ‘X Dalaya Purple & White’ exemplifies modern hybrid vigor, offering extended blooming periods from mid-summer to fall and showing strong resistance to common dahlia diseases.
