Description
Latin Name:Ajuga reptans Mini Crisp Red
Description:Also known as miniature carpet bugle, this ground-hugging and fast spreading perennial is an excellent choice for those looking to fill raised planters or concrete gardens. As spring is coming to an end, spires of beautiful periwinkle florets cover the low-growing foliage. Aggressive spreading is suitable for between stepping-stones, rock-walls, or other tricky gardens.
Potentially Invasive: To mitigate spreading, cut back the plants in the fall and remove the excess root systems.
