Description
Latin Name:AsclepiasSyriaca
Description:Also known as common Milkweed, this Ontario native perennial is an excellent choice to add to native and naturalized gardens. Architecturally, the pink florets and tall stems make milkweed an attractive focal point among shorter flowering plants. Consider it alongside other bog-loving plants like Canadian anemone or swamp asters. Excellent for attracting monarch butterflies.
