The AL8-26 26X Automatic Optical Level is designed for dependable leveling on construction and layout jobsites where accuracy and ease of use are essential. With an accuracy of 1/16 inch at 100 feet and a working range of up to 300 feet, it supports elevation checks, site leveling, and general grade work with consistent results.
The instrument features a 26-power telescope with a large aperture to improve light transmission and image clarity. The wire-hung, magnetically damped compensator automatically stabilizes the line of sight within 15 arc minutes, helping maintain accuracy on uneven terrain. An easy-to-read horizontal circle with white-on-black graduations and an infinite tangent screw allow smooth, controlled alignment during operation.
