Description
Impatiens hawkeri ‘Infinity Red’ from Proven Winners is a vibrant cultivar of New Guinea Impatiens prized for its exceptional heat tolerance and prolific blooming habit. Unlike traditional impatiens, which struggle in hot, sunny conditions, this variety thrives in full sun to partial shade, maintaining continuous, brilliant red flowers throughout the growing season. Its dark green, glossy foliage provides a striking contrast to the rich red blooms, making it a standout choice for containers, borders, and mass planting. Originating from the New Guinea region, this species has been selectively bred to combine the bold color and larger flower size of tropical impatiens with improved resilience and disease resistance. ‘Infinity Red’ has been recognized for its superior garden performance and is a favorite among gardeners seeking low-maintenance, long-lasting color in challenging climates.
